I once heard about a study where American music students were asked to sing one note on the spot. The majority of them sang a G note. When European music students were asked, the majority of them sang a C. The study found that the G note corresponded to the 120V of electricity used in North America. While the C note corresponded to the 220V of electricity used in Europe.
Invisible forces, silent energies, influence the songs we sing.
